The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon conducts Interschool Titration Competition annually since 2011 with a view to increase enthusiasm and interest in Chemistry among young generation which is one of the major objective of the International Year of Chemistry (IYC 2011). Another objective is to enhance the laboratory skills of A/L Science students. The National Titration Competition is held with the consent of the Ministry of Education, and therefore, all the relevant Government schools in the island are able to participate.
