CENTER FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE (CQA) OF INSTITUTE OF CHEMISTRY CEYLON (ICHEMC)
The Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the Institute of Chemistry, Ceylon, was established on 01st September 2023 in accordance with the guidelines stipulated in the circular Non-State Higher Education Circular No. 01/2023 issued by the University Grants Commission on 11/04/2023. The CQA is responsible for providing continuous guidance and oversight of quality assurance procedures of the College of Chemical Science (CCS) and the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (ICHEMC) in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the above circular. The CQA of the ICHEMC is headed by a Director, who is working to fulfill the academic and administrative tasks involved with the CQA. The activities of the CQA are administered by a Management Committee (MC), which is a Sub Committee of the Council of ICHEMC on Quality Assurance and chaired by the Director/CQA. A Director is responsible for the overall administration of the Centre and is supported by the members of the MC and other staff.
