The Rotract Club of the College of Chemical Sciences provides an opportunity for the young men and women of the College of Chemical Sciences to enhance their social and inter-personal skills that will assist them in their careers as future professional, to develop an awareness and address the physical and social needs of their communities, and also to promote better relations between all the classes of people in their communities through a framework of friendship and service.
Goals and Objectives:
- To develop social, inter-personal, professional and leadership skills.
- To emphasize respect for the rights of others, and to promote ethical standards and the dignity of all useful occupations.
- To provide opportunities for young people to address the needs and concerns of their community.
- To provide opportunities for working in cooperation with our sponsoring Rotary club.
- To motivate young people for eventual membership in Rotary.
