CRLC is located at fifth level of the Adamantane House. Currently the CRLC has four research computers to perform computational chemistry research and teaching. The CRLC is hoping to upgrade and improve the computational facilities in future and to focus more undergraduate level research.
Following functions are currently carried out through this center;
- Conduct computational chemistry research for level 4 students
- Facilitate postgraduate computational chemistry research
- Provide technical assistance for students and staff on writing and formatting project reports, thesis, referencing, etc.
- Conduct computational chemistry practicals for physical chemistry (Advanced Physical Chemistry Laboratory)
- Conduct research involving molecular docking, molecular dynamics, quantum mechanics and optimization
