Recognising exceptional commitment and service to the Institute.
Recognising Dedicated Service
A distinguished recognition for members who have contributed significantly to the activities and development of the Institute.
This award is made to felicitate members who have given much of their time towards the activities of the Institute and served the Institute with dedication.
Criteria for the Award
Eligible Chartered Chemists may be considered based on their sustained service and contribution to IChemC.
12 Years of Service
Chartered Chemists who have served for a minimum period of 12 years as Council members and/or members of statutory committees.
7 Years as Office Bearers
A minimum of 7 years as office bearers in the Council and/or statutory committees.
Combined Service
A minimum of 10 years in an appropriate combination of the above forms of service.
Overall Contribution
The total contribution to the work of the Institute must be considered adequate by the Search Committee.
How Awardees Are Selected
Search Committee & Council
The Search Committee meets at the beginning of each calendar year and considers suitable persons for nomination to the Council. The decision of the Council is final.
